Welcome

This is the home of the Havislands, my home-brew D&D campaign world.

This is a lower-magic, more mundane world that has ties to Celtic/anglo-saxon faerie tradition. Think of the works of Susan Cooper or Lloyd Alexander.

The dominant species is humans, but there are many other hominid species that populate this world - elves, dwarves, goblins - all building on the idea that Homo sapiens and Neanderthals and Denisovans lived together and (at least a few times) interbred. Read more on the Ethnology page.

Though an imperfect analog, and for quick cultural reference, think of the Ahros as Roman, the Havis as Celtic, the Valros as Anglo-Saxon, and the Frost Reaches Giantkin as Nordic. The elves have a Celtic vibe with some flair, and the dwarves are more Nordic.
